That way, you've still got your unique meanings and personal themes, but you've hopefully got some more traditions-sounding Japanese names that will reflect on how people perceive the game. As an aspiring writer, believe me.I get it.īut I've found that the you can give traditional Japanese names a nice personal touch if you use them wisely. However, sometimes you strive to make your characters unique by giving them a unique name, perhaps one that has an important meaning behind it. When it comes to character names, I personally find that it's best to keep it nice and simple, depending on what genre your story/game falls into. It's a serious game with a very interesting plot and concept, and I think it's important for the character names to reflect this. There's nothing wrong with this, but I can't help wondering how some of these "punny" or direct significant names reflect on the game itself. Now, as we all know, YandereDev loves giving his characters "punny" names or names that bear some direct significance to that particular character (whether it be their hair colour, personality, club, etc). I'd like to take a moment to talk about some of the game's characters, particularly their names. PLEASE NOTE: I am here to express my opinions/critiques in a friendly, professional manner :D
